Myfanwy  loves inspiring people with the Embellishing Machine aka the Needlefelting Machine;   come along and discover what all the fuss is about; from flowers to patchwork this will be an inspiring weekend;  bring your own machine or borrow one – fabrics, threads and other scrummy textile bits will also be available for you to work with.

 

 

 

Jennie Rayment - Superstar

 
Blaze into action with a wonderfully pieced central star, surround this with a smidgeon of Seminole, add a border of triangles or try a little trendy twiddling, then discover the scenic delights of Delectable Mountains before completing this feast of patchwork techniques with a taste of Pineapple Log Cabin. (The centre will be completed and samples made of all other techniques.)

 
 

 

 

Valerie Nesbitt – Take 3, Take 5 or Take 9 

Fast, Fun and Easy Patchwork; perfect for beginners and those with sewing skills; raid your stash or decide to treat yourself to a new colourway. Lots of tips to help create a successful patchwork quilt; machine work with rotary cutting.


The venue

The Justhands-on.tv weekend will be held in Dunford House, a beautiful 18th century house, set in 60 acres of beautiful woodland. All rooms are
en-suite and the package includes full-board plus evening entertainment and workshops on Saturday and Sunday.  (We can also offer day rates for those not wishing to stay in the House and partner rates for those who wish to bring a partner.) A 20% discount is available if you share bedrooms.

The weekends start at 5pm Friday and finishes at 4pm Sunday.

 

Your hosts

The event is hosted by Wendy Gardiner and Fabric Manipulator Jennie Rayment, who are on hand throughout the weekend to ensure you have a relaxing, trouble-free weekend.

Spaces are limited to no more than 35 students per weekend, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
