This quilt is based on a traditional patchwork known as Inner City. The pattern is composed of three half hexagons joined to form a triangle. Through use of colour, a three dimensional effect is formed. Full colours photographs throughout, templates included. Available as a download pdf only.

Select three different fabrics of light, dark and medium hue. Small prints/self patterned/batiks/tone-on-tone/plains/solids are all good choices. This design can be created in any colour variation you choose. For those who prefer to play - why not use up scraps from your stash and see what happens when you introduce a wider range of colours. The effects can be fantastic. To make the quilt larger - simply make more blocks!
