Manipulated Magic Zoom Class FULL - will repeat later this year!

Come and play with nine different textured designs from Weaving, Tucked-in Squares, Cathedral Windows, Trumpets and much more. Classes presented over five one hour sessions starting on Tuesday 7th Jan 6 - 7,00pm and same class repeated on Wednesday 8th Jan (all dates below). Students are welcome to attend one or the other or both! Classes are recorded and posted on YouTube for all attendees to watch at a later time if a prior engagement on relevant date. Cost £35 for all five classes. 

Pattern: COSMIC HAPPENING 

A gorgeously galactic explosion of colour and shape. Create a panel or a quilt. Add a scalloped border to complete a most intriguing cosmic creation. Simple to sew, just follow Jennie’s novel method for piecing - it is ingenious! Creat two designs - 60 x 60" quilt or 31 x 31" wallhanging.

Inner City Springtime

148 x 115cm (58 x 45”)

This quilt is based on a traditional patchwork known as Inner City. The pattern is composed of three half hexagons joined to form a triangle. Through use of colour, a three dimensional effect is formed. Full colours photographs throughout, templates included. Available as a download pdf only.

Select three different fabrics of light, dark and medium hue. Small prints/self patterned/batiks/tone-on-tone/plains/solids are all good choices. This design can be created in any colour variation you choose. For those who prefer to play - why not use up scraps from your stash and see what happens when you introduce a wider range of colours. The effects can be fantastic. To make the quilt larger - simply make more blocks!
